Shaun's Eagle Project

Monday's troop meeting will be the last chance to sign up for Shaun's Eagle Project before work begins. Please note all work will be done at his residence - 506 NW Pleasant Street.  
Shaun: I have gotten enough done to be able to execute my Eagle Project. It is a building and painting of a recycling bin shed that will be located at Hawkeye Park. Here are the dates and times for all sections of the project and amount of voulunteers needed:

• Measuring and Cutting Lumber: May 31st 6-8pm (No more than 3 adults unless they are unable to be there the whole time.)
• Building Shed: June 3rd 2-5 pm (No more than 3 adults (No more than 3 adults and older scouts 14 yrs and older unless they are unable to be there the whole time.)
• Building Roof and putting on shingles: June 3rd 5:30-8pm (No more than 3 adults unless they are unable to be there the whole time.)
• Priming: June 5th 6-8pm (No more than 5 scouts an adults unless  they are unable to be there the whole time.)
• Painting Ist coat: June 9th 3-5pm (No more than 5 scouts an adults unless they are unable to be there the whole time.)
• Painting 2nd coat: June 9th 6-8pm (No more than 5 scouts an adults unless they are unable to be there the whole time.)

Here are tools that need to be brought during the cutting lumber, constructing the shed and constructing the roof:

• hammers (3)
• worl gloves (8 sets)
• safety glasses (7)
• combination square (1)
• framing square (1)
• 4 ft level (1)
• carpenter's pencil (1)
• power drill (1)
• stapler for felt paper on the roof (1)
• roof guide (1)
• mitre saw (1)
