The troop's personal gear camp out checklist is below. Please use this document to help ensure that everyone brings everything they need to camp out. We discourage cots on normal camp outs since they tend to damage the floors of the Troop's tents. We do however recommend that the boys bring a ground pad in addition to their sleeping bag for comfort and warmth. Cost: $15 - Grub-master & fuel to pull the trailer. Please make checks payable to Troop 188. Payment should be made before we leave on Friday evening. Depart: Friday, June 1st - Cornerstone Baptist Church Loading begins at 5:15 PM so we can leave by 5:30 PM. Ledges State Park is only about 40 minutes away, so we should be there in time to setup in the daylight. Wear your Class “A” uniform. Return: Sunday, June 3rd - East Elementary parking lot We'll return around 10:00. The boys will call before we leave so we can give a more accurate return time, so please make sure they know what phone number to call. Things to Bring: Bring normal camp out clothes and equipment, including your Scout handbook. Please remember to leave all electronics at home. They are not needed and will only get lost or damaged if taken. If anyone has any questions or concerns please let me know.
